Between this, Mario and Trump's 2016 election win, I think whats important to learn is that the loud mouths of the far left that seem to permiate every corner of internet and media are not actually an accurate representation of the American people.

Sure you may be able to get away with a mediocre movie or two with a strong social message. But if you just keep doing the same boring social message and half assing the actual story and characters themselves, audiences will get bored.

You can shame the people who speak out against it all you want and try to paint them as idiots, but when it comes to the box office, or an election, people will show what they really believe.

I'm a liberal. Not a leftist, a liberal. Liberals believe in maximizing freedom including freedom of expression and free market capitalism. Woke/PC culture is against both of these and the Democrat party has allied itself with this group as well. That's not liberal at all. That's authoritarian left. That oppressive no matter how much you want to package it as being anti-oppression.

Hollywood is learning the hard way that if you go woke, you go broke.
