This revelation of the source, might make people seem like liars, who claimed the leaked info was fake, as it obviously wasn't Russian hackers.

The leaked info was mixed with fake info. That's why I thought it was put out there intentionally, at least until this arrest.

The leaked info was (most likely) fully legit. Then, people copied it, modified it, and spread it, as one could imagine. Some of the later places it was post, were suspected to have modifications to some death rate numbers. I think this helps down play the other very concerning things in the leak. Like that Biden lied and we did have boots on the ground, neither zelensky or biden are interested in considering a peace agreement, at least this year, so we can expect $100's of Billions of our tax money to be thrown into the corruption black hole of Ukraine. Zelensky plans to use weapons given to him to attack inside Russia, if he can, despite being made to promise it was defense only. They have a massive amount of training going on and world collaboration, which coinciding with talk of a "spring offensive" this year. It seems we are planning a world war...but I hope not, especially since the US already threatened to use nukes.

At first, the media pretended it was leaked by Russians and that it was all fake. Then, normally whistle-blower protecting sanctuaries of leaks, New York Times, Washington Posts, and other corporate news investigated and tracked down the leaker before the FBI/etc even could. Looking back, they only support leakers from one side anymore and viciously attack them from the other side.

Considering the sheer massive volume of obviously desperate and fake war propaganda the corporate news has been pushing daily, I'm more suspicious that this guy being the leaker is even true, or if so, anything they say about him is.

We know when unethical, illegal, or embarrassing stuff about the US gets leaked by whistleblowers, the US likes to aggressively prosecute them with nearly 100 year old laws that can't be defended against, such as the Pentagon files back in the day, Snowden, Assanage, Manning, and others. Obama really was the slayer of whistleblowers. We saw how each time, the corporate media immediately pounced on the whistleblowers with a heavy dog-pile slander campaign, like they were directed to by the government or something, just like their constant stream of Ukraine war propaganda seems like.
