I have to wonder how much of this behavior is spurred on by the existence of HIV suppressant drugs. If there's a mindset of "well, they managed to quash this killer STD, they can do it again" among people, it could go a long way to explaining (at least some of) the blase attitude towards this disease.

PrEP does more harm than good. That’s why I don’t trust it.
