How do you know the bible isn't mythology invented by humans?

How do you know that evolution is not a lie created by evil in high places with the sole purpose to break the faith in a God who loves them and fights for them? If the evil side can convince people there is no God they would stop praying against their evil plans. And without Jesus, the Savior, all men would become slaves to the enemy. And the Bible tells us the end from the beginning. As we see the prophecies fulfilled, we gain faith that God's word is true.

I don't "know" anything, however, evolution makes sense, it hasn't been disproven, and there's plenty of evidence. There is no evidence for a global conspiracy that evolution is a lie to convince people not to believe in God. There is no evidence that the bible was written by anyone besides humans.

So while I don't know which is actually true, it's only reasonable that I'll live with the assumption that the former is much more likely to be true and the latter highly likely to be false.

It is good for you to be humble and truthful and admit you do not know which is the absolute truth. Evolution does not make sense to me, although I once believed that lie.

Years ago I downloaded a computer program that tried to create random creatures, to see how evolution would work if the design of the creatures was left to blind chance, but rewarding those creatures that reached certain goals with the opportunity to reproduce. It was using the idea of "survival of the fittest". Well, the creatures created were deformed and never evolved into anything complex. The project was a flop and abandoned by its creators. Evolution was not shown to be true at all using computer simulations over millions of simulated generations.

When we hear about man making things like the COVID shots, we are reminded that man now edits the code of life, creating mRNA even for COVID, by cutting and pasting genetic material. But these COVID shots did not make themselves over millions of years of evolution, but were created in a lab by pharmaceutical companies and their scientists. Functional genetic material must have a creator, someone to write the code.

Humans did not create themselves. To me now, it is obvious, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Creator we call God, but I know him by his name, and I have heard him speak to me directly since I turned away from my sins. I am thankful that Jesus allows any of us, even the worst of sinners, to come to him and receive his salvation. He is mankind's greatest Friend, and whoever calls on his name shall be saved. But here comes the evolution lie to try to break that faith. Our enemy knows that is our only defence: faith in our Savior. One call on his name can make an eternal difference.

As humans we all seek answers to the universal questions, why are we here? Where did we come from? For me the concept of god can never answer these fundamental questions, as it begs the even greater question, who or what created god?

Also, we don't have close to the technology to simulate the world, to demonstrate evolution as it may have happened on earth. But evolutionary self organization of smaller parts to create "creatures" of greater complexity through mutation has been done.

why are we here?

We are here to take a test of free will. Your choices here determine your destiny in eternity.

Where did we come from?

We came forth from God's creative power. God is love. Our fundamental nature is also love. We are being tested to see how we love and what we love.

who or what created god?

God has always existed, without beginning or end.

The more questions you will ask in sincerity, the more God will teach you. He knows all of your thoughts and nothing you do or say is hidden from him. If you want the truth, he will reveal it to you in the form he chooses. If you do not want the truth, you will remain in darkness.

There's no evidence of that. It just sounds like you believe something that gives you comfort and that's fine. The idea of God was never comforting for me. I realized the concept of god was most likely a fantasy invented by us after I read the Bible when I was a kid. Both the good times and King James versions, which are quite different. The translations have changed significantly over history and no one even has the original writings. Even at the age of 12 it seemed quite obvious that it's a work of fiction. The bible in it's current forms contradicts itself in many places. The god of the old testament is a fucking psychopath. Then Jesus has this whole new version of God that doesn't even fit with the old testament. Sorry my man, I'm really happy without that nonsense in my life.

I hesitate to say anything more to you about this topic because you say you are "happy without that nonsense", but you are mistaken and have been deceived if you think God changed from one time period to another. The Lord has always been the same. Jesus did not come teaching the world about a new God. The Old Testament scriptures taught the same thing as Jesus: the greatest commandment has always been to love God and to love your fellow man. Man has a hard heart and refuses to obey this very reasonable commandment.

Man acted like the psychopath when he nailed Jesus to a cross. Jesus is the Lord, the very image of God. Children in Jerusalem were horrified when they saw the adults, soldiers and religious leaders, beating an innocent man (who only offered blessings) and killing him on a cross. The children wept and were in shock to see this brutal treatment of a gentle man they had previously seen doing good. It made no sense to them. How did the adults explain to their own children that they were justified in killing an innocent man in public?

I am not content living in this world with evil and barbaric men who persecute and kill the innocent. Do you not see how evil this world is?

With all due respect, if you just happened to be born in a different part of the world, you'd be preaching the Norse god's or Buddhism. It's incredibly arrogant to preach the 'one.and only religion'. Innocent men are killed every day. Injustice in the world is rife. It does not require devotion to the man. I've read the texts but I honestly find greater meaning in recorded history than in the gospels of a few sandpeople.

I was born in America, the country of many gods. Jesus is not considered the Lord by most people that live here and that is why the nation has fallen and it will be destroyed. In college, I saw many Muslims, and had Muslims living in my dormitory hall. I was an unbeliever at that time and I tried to read the Koran, but I did not convert.

Many of my fellow Americans worship the military, the government, pharmaceuticals, money, pornography, sports, Hollywood, and self.... the list includes many idols, but I broke free from all that and follow Jesus only. I do not represent the norm here, so your thinking is wrong to assume I should believe a certain way because of where I was born. Sadly, I see few that believe as I do. People going to a particular church made by man does not show what they believe. Traditions are different from what is believed in the heart. This nation also devotes time each year to the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus, but the adults obviously do not believe in them. Going to church for most is a formality and does not indicate a living faith in Jesus.

Jesus lived and died in Israel. Do they believe in him? What percentage of them live according to his teachings, thereby proving they have faith in him?

It's incredibly arrogant to preach the 'one.and only religion'.

Is it arrogant to preach love? Because that is what got Jesus killed.

If you saw how the Bible was tampered with over the centuries you might change your mind.
