When she's spending more time working than getting impregnated. If you honestly think it is reasonable to get back from maternity leave with another child already on the way and demand a raise before you head back out, for effectively doing absolutely nothing but leeching money from the company for months at a time AND forcing them to hire someone to do the work you're not doing, you are completely beyond help.

Right, so women should just put their entire careers on hold to have kids? That's one way to even further decrease birth rates I guess, if that's what you're aiming for.

Getting pregnant while already on maternity leave is demonstrating a clear priority on having a family over having a career. Despite what you might like to pretend, being on perpetual maternity leave is not the same as working and will not magically provide you with work experience relevant to progressing a career.
