A member of antifa murdered a Trump supporter in Portland, in what appears to have been first degree murder. Police found surveillance footage of the suspect laying in wait to ambush the guy, the victim who was alone and unarmed.

The national media largely ignored the story, because they were pushing hard the narrative that Antifa was peaceful, and it was those evil Trump supporters who were the actual bullies.

The antifa guy then fled the state, all while claiming his innocence online yet also being heralded as a hero by the left for murdering a Trump supporter.

Police then tracked him down to where he was hiding, and allegedly shot him when he opened fire on them. That, of course, was seen as a horrible tragedy by the left, who insist the cops just executed him, and can't fathom the possibility that a man who would murder someone over politics would open fire on cops trying to arrest him for a capital offense.

That avoids a trial that would paint antifa in a bad light, wouldn't shock me if the police executed him with a blessing from higher up.
