Trudeau was reelected despite appearing in public in blackface.

That was the "we have always been at war with Eurasia" moment. Suddenly blackface wasn't offensive and never had been.

You asked if Canadians had made their mind up on the election. It happened a while back. The weirdest part was finding out that, this whole time, blackface was never offensive. I was positive that it was the most offensive thing ever, and disqualified someone from public office much less head of state. But no, it didn't happen.
