I was always under the impression that you had respect for the president/leader of a nation regardless of your true feelings. This doesn't mean that you couldn't bitch about it, of course.

Good, bad, or in between Trump is president at current. People were out there enough in force to vote for him and there will be people voting for him again. Treating someone's personal political belief system as something that can end in employment termination is discrimination.
