I've tried reasoning with these people. They're more interested in communicating their anger than communicating effectively to persuade people to their side. They have some good arguments. But damn do they do a number on listeners.

Pretty much dude. It just proves how valid political horseshoe theory really is. You can write the exact same thing and replace the words "white male" with "jew", "patriarchy" , or whatever it is you are mad at and it works. Which shows how simplistic the argument is to some extent. The argument is based more on emotion then anything else.

Is it really true that Jews occupy many positions of power? And if they do, is that a problem? Are they deliberately excluding others? Or do they just have a better culture (work ethic, etc.), maybe on average higher IQ, that makes them get ahead, while others are jealous?

Israeli interests dominate the US government. Who benefited from the invasion of Iraq? Certainly wasn't America. Israel certainly did, though.

Our war in Syria, who is benefiting from that? Certainly not America. What are we even doing there? I don't know and neither do you.

A war with Iran has been forcefully advocated for. Who benefits? Certainly not America. But Israel is scared shitless someone will be able to counter their nuclear weapons and force them to negotiate. Just look at how the US has to treat North Korea.

Israel is currently annexing territory just like Poland 1939. Russia annexes territory in Crimea, doubleplusungood. Israel annexes territory, it receives the full approval of the US government.

Israel has been used as a wedge to create turmoil in the mid east. Old divide and rule playbook. Same as how minorities are used within America.

    This, people simplify so much because it's easy. If you want to win a war attack the ideology and its foundations not the boogeyman ((them)) as some like to call them. I wish the world was so simple that we could just dismantle the power of one group and everyone would be happy and peaceful, but in reality there are hundreds of different ((them)) and power groups.     First of all, I wasn't trying to make an argument. This is the first thing I said in this discussion, so I'm not sure which argument I have supposedly lost. I COULD make the argument that holding a certain political belief is not a valid reason to consider someone a terrorist, which I at least implied in another comment I made. But here, I was just trying to riddicule this guy's position a bit by comparing it to the Nazis.
