I do not care who provides security for these folks. It is not clear to me that the Secret Service does this. Seems the President is making stuff up.

But, to answer the question, we pay to keep people safe from crime. That includes poor people. That includes rich people. Is there some reason this would not be true for this young family?

Do I sound like someone who howls at the moon sometimes? Maybe so but screw isolation—I am going to the gym most days and it is great since almost no one is there. I do miss that woman in yoga pants who used to do all those leg workouts. That and a half bottle a day of red wine a day make me feel great. Oh, and the methamphetamine. Oh, I thought you were joking but it seems you're not. How many people do you know who have Kung Flu? My mother-in-law knows a woman who knows a woman who sometimes sees a man at her gym who just came back from a cruise and has an undiagnosed respiratory infection but he is quite old. It is just ordinary flu that comes around every year, in my opinion and this year flu is down because of all the precautions. Don't believe the hype. Where I live there are no exact rules and no lockdown. BTW, in the last few days I have posted two articles that list twenty-two microbiologists, epidemiologists, etc. who say this outbreak is completely normal. Old folks die all the time of flu/pneumonia and this year is not unusual according to them.

There are people who are "royalty" due to their blood. Over decades or century through any number of means and reasons, their family has lost all their wealth and have become "unimportant". They don't have security and lead "normal" lives.

In thess cases, I don't care about them as they are not part of the problem.

Anyone who has more than a million, IMO, has too much. In big cities, make that 10 million. I'm not even talking about net and gross values, including home(s), investments, etc. I'm talking simplistically. Sure wealthy people may become accustomed to certain lifestyles - but at what cost?

MOST of this planet is desperately poor. Far more than we can even imagine on our worst days.

Royalty and wealthy people could help them. A rising tide lifts all boats, including the rich. But those fuckers want control. OVER EVERYTHING. And will not stop. For anything.
