This is what I told ActualyNot about the climate change people using private jets and CO2 levels. Now they are frozen on the runway by global warming.

HEAT INSULATIVE PROPERTIES (how much radiant heat sent from the Sun, the gas stops from being sucked back into space)

• H₂O ― 100 W/m² (x33~100 of CO₂)

PREVELANCE IN ATMOSPHERE (as a component of all atmospheric gas)

• CO₂ ― 0.04%

• H₂O (as water vapour) ― 2~4% (x50~100 of CO₂)

TOTAL HUMAN CONTRIBUTION (since the Industrial Revolution)

• CO₂ ― 3%

• H₂O ― N/A

NB: H₂O has up to 10,000 times the "global warming potential" (GWP) of CO₂, and humans' net contribution to the latter, as a component of total atmospheric gas, is 0.0012% (i.e., 3% of 0.04% = 0.0012%). That is, for "Anthropogenic Global Warming" (AGW) to change the global climate and ensuing weather patterns, to the degree claimed, one must accept that a 0.0012% change in carbon dioxide can cause this. Further, MH₄ (methane), until recent years, was rarely, if ever broached in the century or more of "global warming", now, re-branded as "climate change", Chicken Little fear-mongering -- 'coincidentally', not until after the debunking of the vilification of "CO₂" began, via the agency of the free flow of scientific information in the Internet Age. Lastly, where the data is measured from, dictates whether "warming" can be demonstrated: If taken from the "Roman warming" or "medieval warming" nodes, the Earth has cooled; if taken from the mid-19th Century -- right after the mini Ice Age and the freezing-over of the Thames river -- it has 'warmed' 0.6°C.
