You're equating mental deficiency and brainwashing with demon possession?
Socialism sounds like a good idea, until one joins the real world and learns that people are born too selfish for that idealistic notion to have any hope of success, without Jesus.
There is no goodness apart from God. Once society learns that, and relearns love, there will be a hope. Moshiach now.
