I could not remember lightning safety beyond the basics, so I looked it up and realize I pretty much follow none of the safety guidelines besides not standing out in a storm with a big metal pole. https://www.cdc.gov/disasters/lightning/safetytips.html

Dogs don't follow best practices either.
