In film and TV you literally see ads for completely technical or dogsbody jobs asking for "at least one social media account with 10k followers" as a job requirement.
Usually it's a shitty production which wants it's staff to act like free advertising boards but still it cuts down on the entry positions available to good people.
Then they get upset when their secret plot gets leaked because a runner is taking selfies all day and doesn't have the sense to understand what they are standing next to.
