While I'm sure Lucy is not doing anything better with her life, and it seems that anyone who would say something like that is just projecting their own lack of achievement, I can't help but see a tiny bit of wisdom in questioning the many ways in which we let time slip away. Unwinding is important to productivity, but it only works if you are wound up.

The internet is like a tree and these threads are the leaves. Each one a little entertaining, but fleeting and destine to decompose into nothing. Perhaps we should have spent this time with Peppermint Patty. Maybe she would let us rest our head on her lap and say "good boy". That would be nice.
