that decision is so retarded, it MUST have been calculated.

i think i read, that here in the UK 75% of the prison population came from the care home system and they are repeat offenders.

if we could treat these poor souls better we could reduce all crime in the uk by 75%.

but they need crime here to justify police funding.

if they put some of that funding into reducing the abject poverty of these serial offenders. you could improve the country overnight.

i'm on the frontline of this... its poverty that is the main cause of crime.
