A non-anonymous Internet may indeed become necessary in the future, but there's no Earthly reason for it to require anyone to have a mark on their hand or forehead.

That part of Revelation is simply not going to come true in any literal sense. You will have to decide for yourself whether "A replacement for the TCIP/IP protocol that hard-locks your Internet connection to identifying data" is something that the author of Revelation may have interpreted as "a mark on your hand or head."
