Knowing something is going to happen is very very different to knowing exactly what is going to happen and when.

It wasn't like this was a intricately tactical military operation, it was more like a medieval raiding party.

They ran in grabbed some hostages and women to rape, killed everyone else then ran away.

OK - though this happened in areas that are normally heavily guarded, and famous for snipers. It's not a large area. Nothing justifies what this group of idiots have done, but their alternative has been to live in horrific conditions in Gaza. The only ones to benefit from this are Netanyahu and his far right cronies, who are now in the process of bombing Gaza to rubble (again), whilst their IDF PR is reposting numerous times the same random 20 videos of women (and some men) taken hostage or killed (in one case). Responses to those videos are of course predictable, calling for the deaths of those terrorists. I hope the IDF finds them and rescues the hostages. Bombing high-rise buildings to rubble does nothing to address the terrorists. The lack of the usual security in the areas of the attacks is evidence that the IDF were removed from those areas for a reason, to await the attack. It's highly unlikely that the IDF did not know of the paragliders, weapons, missiles, and the plans. This was welcomed by Netanyahu and his far right cronies; part of their general plans since 1996, part of the reason they killed the peace process, part of the reason Hamas exists.

Everyone has the option not to rape women

Edit: if you read a little more about it apparently this area wasn't heavily guarded at all because the army had been moved to guard settlements for political reasons. They were relying on tech such as CCTV to alert them to any attack, which Hamas were able to take down quickly.

Doesn't need to be a false flag. It's just as easy to allow the enemies to attack. Even encourage them, if you have some agents in the mix.

Economic stimulus via emergency military spending. Maybe instigated by a party who would stand to benefit from a protracted and ugly skirmish.

Don't even need agents.

Hamas want to genocide Isreal. They are very open about it.

Currently there's loads of cheap weapons and free money floating around due to the Ukraine and idiot woke international aid. The US government is even sending 6 billion in aid to Iran. What do they expect to happen to that money?

I'm not even surprised US is already sending a ton more money.

What do you bet it's another false flag?

False flag.

It certainly looked like they didn't know what was coming.

Perhaps Hamas has worked out the spying channels?

Apparently it was all planned in Iran and the revolutionary guard are claiming responsibility for organising and funding it.
