Never been big on conspiracy stuff, but I will certainly say the towers had like 50 different "off" things, from the temperature of steel melting vs jet fuel, to perfect demolition, to video of explosions going up the building, etc etc. Pentagon being hit also had some interesting video of not a plane flying into it, but a craft shooting something out, much like a missle. Was really interesting stuff, and 100% this is not the first false flag we have done on ourselves and got caught.

This gif is trash. Steel looses a LOT of its strength above 600 degrees F. Melting is not necessary for the structure to fail.

I’m an engineer. We watched the collapse of the towers on TV at work. Before the collapse, I noted to my colleagues that the top portion of the tower would collapse onto the lower portion due to the weakening steel. The force of that collapse would start a chain reaction of successive floors “pancaking” on to the next lower floor until the building was demolished.

And as Joe Xiden said: “Son of a bitch,” guess what happened!

Part I've always taken issue with the conspiracy theories is how complicated they get. Planes are fake, demolitions hidden in the building etc.

Seems to me flying a jumbo jet into a building might indeed knock it down, and it seems to me if they wanted to fake a terrorist attack, just fucking getting people to do a real terrorist attack would be easier than faking it.

Like there's some people that say the planes were also fake, but really how hard would it be for the government to goad some terrorist into doing that?

I'm happy to entertain that the government knew about the attacks before hand but did nothing for political purposes, I think the conspiracy theories are used to distract from the issue that it's entirely possible the attacks could have been stopped before hand, rather that is intentional or due to mere incompetence I'll leave up for debate.

I agree with y'all, but what about WTC Building 7? cc: u/GuyWhite

I don’t know anything about that building.

It was a controlled demolition just like the twin towers

You don't even know what building 7 is and you're commenting on this stuff? Seems weird to me.

So you're an engineer? Was that supposed to give us a calming effect, like, hey, he's an engineer, he must be sooooooper smart?

You do realize for everyone of you, there are also engineers that speak directly against your pancaking idea. These engineers know that never before in the history of steel and concrete skyscrapers has one fallen into its own footprint at freefall speed because of fire. There have been buildings built well before the twin towers that have been on fire, and not just at the top, but the entire thing for DAYS, and all that was replaced was the facade.

It doesn't really matter if you're an engineer, there are stupid people everywhere. Stupid doctors, stupid lawyers, stupid judges, and stupid engineers. You'd have been better off just saying you were a guy, and then arguing. Saying you're an engineer in this case just made it worse, because if you were a good one, you'd know what you just said was impossible.

You’re a really classy person.

If that's all you got? I'll take the win. See ya normie.

Don't get mad, this has nothing to do with class, it's about the truth. Good job though.

In the case of the towers, the fire was fed by jet fuel from airplanes that had just been filled for transcontinental flights. So the fire was really hot.

The steel structural members had fireproofing applied. This will stop a catastrophic failure for a normal structure fire fed by burning building materials and contents.

But a fire fed by large quantities of jet fuel overwhelmed the fire proofing.
