This is related to US proxy wars which are over 150 years old, involving over 100 major conflicts, and shows the powerful control of the US military industrial complex throughout this period, regardless of the president. (Yes, this didn't look good for the Nobel Peace prize, but there is a much bigger discussion about the preservation of so-called peace with the help of so-called justified war; not that I fully agree with it however, as we can follow the money for the proxy wars to war profiteers, rather than an interest in peace. For example, which countries helped develop Islamic extremists in the middle east?: Israel, US, Russia, Turkey, France, UK, etc., etc. But most people in those countries didn't want any of it. Money in politics will continue corporate & 1% control over everything, regardless of the president.)
