I think the public is just now learning that most vaccines don't prevent spread. This is being again highlighted in the vaccine shed polio outbreaks in the New York areas. The outbreak is thought to be of mutated vaccine derived polio strains, brought to the area by foreigners vaccinated with the oral live-virus polio vaccine phased out in America long ago, and being spread by the vaccinated, becoming a serious risk to those not vaccinated. This seems all too familiar as Covid spread and mutations exploded once people got vaccinated and were told not to take precautions anymore.
