My assertion is that all government "solutions" are always terrible - Left AND Right. You can't provide a single example of a government idea that didn't end up in disaster.

The only things in life that are certain are death and mafia governments (who will always take their taxes).

I see the right as smaller government types who usually would prefer market based solutions. It's the left who think government is a solution to all problems.
