These scientists and philosophers were all fighting against the corruption of their time. Like the churches and the religions, Nobles and industrial slavery. But they also have some psychopathic tendencies which makes them see the world as a survival of the strongest and people as controllable animals.

Still evolution has religious roots.
Certain branches of shamanism promote the idea of Survival of the strongest or fittest. Even with survival rituals. The idea is to be so strong that you can even escape death.
The idea of "no purpose" is Zen-buddism (nothingness). And some christian traditions believe that were are here only to suffer for our sins, until death allows us to go to heaven.
Hinduism and Buddhism promote the idea of evolution, with our souls by repeated reincarnation and growth. With a universe that is very old.

I think that Marx had the idea of a fight between classes and different groups, a bit like different animal types. He did not really recognize that individuals had their own ideas and qualities. In those times most people were kind of stuck to their job, place and family. I think he wanted to remove certain classes (Nobility) and groups.

But his philosophy also removed the strengths of the individual and restricted the freedoms. Combined with the propaganda this became a lie of an Utopia. The more wide-spread illusion of: If everyone is like me, everything will be good.

Mostly i agree. Though i believe that liberty or freedom isn't the ability to do what you want without violating others rights.

It is the ability to not do what you don't want.

This is a very important difference.

I think Marx and Darwin were extremely influential to both capitalist and socialist systems. I wanted to share some of Marx's opinions on the man.

An interesting conspiracy theory that I follow is that despite the two being represented as opposites, the truth is that Communism and Capitalism are similar systems. To be more precise, capitalism isn't perfect. When you give too much freedom to people, it creates the room for monopolies and by extension, bad authorities to show up. Despite the Libertarian rejection of authorities, too much economic freedom allows for these oligarchies to show up. The regimes we have known as Communism are despotic systems created in this fashion. Basically they are super-capitalist systems...
