I think the hospital was mostly evacuated, there's only pics of 2 women and apparently only 3 were killed after the initial reports claimed many casualties, but likely there were still some women who they thought it wouldn't be safe to move.

So the truth is in-between what both sides are saying.

Probably not, because some pro-Russia sites I follow are blaming the hospital strike on Ukrainians using it as a base.

Could be true. Could be bullshit. But that's the same line both the US and Israel use when they're caught bombing hospitals. "Yes, we bombed a hospital, but that's only because the <insert local militia group> were using it to launch missiles."
