Awkwardly phrased, but true to a point.

Most children are trained to grow up to still need authoritarian parental figures, even when not benevolent.

The only authorities worth respecting would be benevolent FOTPACH and leading by example. (fair, open, transparent, peaceful, accountable, consistent, honest)

We don't have that and never will.

ALL top-down systems are corrupt. Many others may be too.
