Yeah, she has an end times cult following.

There's lots of branches of environmentalism which are pragmatic and look for practical solutions to help climate change.

Greta, meanwhile, is used by a bunch of pessimistic ideologues who think we are literally all going to die in a couple of years time if we don't start living like cavemen and eat bugs because we are evil sinners.

Besides being a teen is there something medically wrong with her? She has a pronounced asymmetry to her features and odd facial expressions. I'm not saying that to be mean about a little girl's looks but that I wonder if they're exploiting a girl with a disability, possibly Down syndrome.

No context to what she meant by this. I feel bad for her, however, to the extent that the adults around her are using a teen to give the face they want to the policies they advocate. She doesn't have the life experience to understand remotely the repercussions of what she speaks. In the past, that would have ruled her out as a serious voice. But we no longer care if voices are serious, only if they agree with what the powers want. She's a mascot, and of course, being as young as she is, she has no point of comparison to realize the way she is being used is disgusting. The right does the same thing, of course, but currently the right aren't the ones reaching for absolute global domination. It's the left we need to focus on.

makes more sense to preserve the world than banks. climate change may be fake but pollution does exist and is no good. How to reduce it? It would take money for one, could bribe corporations and china to stop.

Personally I don't give a shit about it. With everything wrong going on in the world, climate change is at the bottom of the list as far as I'm concerned.

I do believe in conservation, not polluting etc. With things going on in the world, I suppose covid and the loss of rights with it is top but after that things like gender studies and shit don't matter to much compared to the environment.
