Being alone and being lonely are two entirely different things. For years I was desperately lonely because I was trying so hard to put up a face that people would find acceptable. Once I realized that the people I was trying so hard to impress in truth didn't interest me, I moved to a significantly more solitary life. I no longer suffer from loneliness at all. My conclusion from this is that "loneliness" is actually better termed "desire for acceptance". When we realize that the approval of the vast majority of people is worse than nothing at all, the problem goes away.

Correction: It is not arrogance. It is realizing who you actually are.

Also antisocial and asocial are completely different behavioral patterns.

Let's just appreciate the simple fact that 90 % of humanity consists of idiots.

So i behave asocial when they try to force me into a "group" of peers and i behave asocial when i don't like my conversation partner.

As soon as i realize he / she basically is an ant, i behave antisocial. Especially when these idiots try to apply the force of "social" pressure or "groupthink".

I know for a fact that quality of decisions goes down with size of group.

Basically this follows from Benfords law of big numbers. So to say.

But you also can spot it everday.

Because ants are better of in a group of their peers.

I'm not facing twainian dilemmas anymore.

Simple as that it is.

society is split between those who see reality and those who ignore reality.

I overestimated the intelligence of the average person till 2020. As long as random people dress and talk like authorities the masses will believe them. They’ll be like “I can’t walk anymore. But get the vaccine,” because they crave social approval and the media tells them it’s a conspiracy theory to think ill of the Most Holy Vaccine.

I've always been a loner/weirdo and this mindset allows me to justify my unsociable behaviour.
