There are a lot of different groups trying to manipulate information online, since we are prone to be attacked people should know about this.

It's an article from the Guardian talking about the way the British army is using teams of shills in order to carry out psyops online to manipulate public opinion.

Both the Israeli and US army already engage heavily in psychological operations.

I honestly see no hope for social media when it comes to the usual sites. People have no idea how damaging pop culture is on their minds and there's very few people trying to do something to create healthy media and educational sites...

My sense is that the host servers would be making excuses to shut them down and harassment by suspending them for phantom violations then "apologetically" reinstating as well see with Twitter, Facebook.
