Honest question, do they see themselves as Satan's army? They offer up temptation to the gentile, and commit to sins of the flesh. How is this not an instructional guide for spiritual corruption?

I think some of them do. At one time supposedly 50% of Jews believed in a messianic cult- Sabbatai Zevi or Jacob Frank. One or both of these guys popularized the "salvation through sin" concept. We're talking the 17th and 18th centuries, not ancient history.

Yeah I used to use duckduckgo but somebody on here said startpage is better. I don't know, it looks like duckduckgo has a lot more good results, at least in this case.
