Technically it'd be a newspaper burning but they held a physical burning of written media in Burlington VT late summer outside the police station. A local newspaper, 7daysvt, which is typically very left leaning, like everything up that way, wrote an article that was unfavorable to the Burlington BLM crowd (mainly because they pointed out the crowd is all 19 year old white college girls who don't know anything). So they went around town stealing all their copies from stands and stores, then held a massive book burning of it down at the police station's parking lot that evening.

    No I accepted his victory, just like I can accept Biden's now. The problem is we just experienced the most hated president in history with no real evidence for any of the claims. Every single claim has been about his rhetoric and PREDICTIONS of what could happen if he keeps doing X, Y or Z. Meanwhlie what's really going on is we have the first non-politician in office, and he's getting hate from the whole establishment, and revealing to everyone how rigged the system is and how we're basically getting milked like cows in what is effectively domestication of humans, make them docile, give them food, shelter, and make them work for you. Being against this stuff used to be a matter of the left.

    Now Obama didn't really say much, hope and change was nebulous, but people figured a muslim black guy with a name like Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein couldn't turn out to be a conservadem, he had to be a far left socialist. That is like how people liked what Trump said in 2015-2016 and hoped he was telling the truth so voted for him.
