People are willingly putting themselves deeper into this hole. I am so sick of it. NO ONE actually wants this except for the ones at the top, and near the top, like the shoulders. Us in the middle and the bottom are just getting FUCKED. I am so sick of it, Node.

Agreed. I've seen too much to have any optimism.

I have optimism. There is light at the end of this tunnel. I just think the tunnel is long.

I've seen too much to have any hope for many living humans, though. Or, for that matter, the incoming generation.

I just think the tunnel is long.

How long are you thinking, and what will change when it does?

Humans are essentially a species of cattle-like herd animals, ruled and exploited by a tiny parasitic class. Advances in technology appear to guarantee that the level of control over the masses will only continue to skyrocket. Even if the parasitic class begins fighting among themselves, as they often do, they'll simply use their proxies from the herd.

Even if civilization utterly collapses during the upcoming replay of the cosmic disaster cycle, the average IQ of the masses is very unlikely to make the 20 to 30 point jump required to throw off their shackles. As soon as civilization is reestablished, we'll be right back to this.

I could use an optimistic perspective after watching that shit show today. The people among us who care the most, were still there fighting to support their cabal puppet. Gaaah.

I'll tell you what I see.

Mankind is changing. It is a subtle change, unperceived by those who lack a tangible connection with all the parts of their being. So, that is most people, as you say, we are essentially a cattle-like herd-species. I don't disagree, since the majority of humans throughout history have been unable to perceive all the parts of their being and how they relate to objective reality. Now, I think that as children, we can grasp the reality of our self and our environment, but this grasping has no words, and we are quickly taught words and concepts by confused, bungled humans (we are taught a bunch of subjective shit mingled with a tiny bit of objective stuff). So, just because it might be an innate ability, like being able to learn language, it isn't very useful to know that it exists beyond the fact that it exists. Since we know it is possible to perceive reality in a tangible and objective way (authentic science does this, so does authentic art) it is also possible to see that mankind is changing, subtly, to oppose these parasites.

Now. Some people think that this means mankind will evolve mentally and the planet will be fully healed, and our civilization will grow and expand in new ways. I don't think so, but I could be wrong. It seems much more likely that the cosmic disaster will occur. I actually agree with a lot of what you have to say, however you are a tad cynical. That is ok! I get a little cynical now and then, but reality isn't doom and gloom. It is mostly light, and the absence of light, on a metaphysical level. I'm not going woo here, I'm just saying that on a fundamental level, reality is composed of things that are positive and healthy, useful and evolutionary. We as humans don't understand this, but we certainly like to make tons of claims of understanding.

What I think is more likely is that we will be destroyed. Not by gods, but by the way this natural system we call life is set up. Our planet will go through an asteroid belt, or something of the sort, and we will be knocked back a step. This lowers the population a lot. So much, that the parasites are few in number, the mindless sheep are few in number, and the new men are few in number.

I think the mentally evolved humans will appear before the civilization falls, but they won't gain prominence until the next age, and they will prevail as leaders over the parasites because the parasites are weak: they have not had a real challenge in centuries. They don't understand their own minds, they don't even understand that they can understand. They are parasites, little worms in the belly of society (or the brain). They never create anything, they only steal other ideas and bastardize them for a profit. The cosmic destruction puts these parasites out of reckoning, on the same level as good people, or, as I argue, evolved people. I don't care about any conspiracies about hidden bases in Antartica. They are clowns if they think anything like that could save them. Natural destruction like this is always exact and perfectly timed, although we as humans don't grasp this (if we have an inkling of this, we call it an act of god, which is wrong).

We live in a natural, evolving system, complex and yet simple at the same time. Kind of a paradox, but I think only because we don't understand how simple complexity actually is. If you realize something is complex, you realize you can't put any of your personal colorations onto it, and you realize that understanding it will require slow and simple steps of study. We can understand reality, this natural system we live in. I don't buy into any of that limited mental prowess crap. We once sat in caves drawing stick figures on the wall. We once put dirty hands into our brethren to pull out hot metal on the battlefield, causing pain. We once told heart attack patients that they needed bedrest, lol. We have obviously advanced in our understanding. However, now, we are stagnating. This means that another leap is coming. I, for one, don't think it will come until the fall of this civilization. That's just because of how useless I view the sheep: I know they are useless, I was one of them for many years, and still am in some vital ways.

I could be wrong, but that is why I think the tunnel is long. We do not seem far apart, except that I have a very happy outlook on life. I have been in some horrible pain in my life, pain that is rated as some of the worst pain a male could have besides castration. I know life is ultimately good, but we humans are fools. I work with dogs. My family raises and trains therapy dogs.

Dogs know that life is inherently good. Do you know why? Because they didn't have their Christian mom tell them that man is inherently sinful, and god will destroy the earth in revelations. Or because they didn't have their liberal mom tell them that life is inherently too big for man to comprehend.

The fucking dog gets it. Edit: to answer what will change when it does. Mankind will change. Our species will evolve, rather than involve, or even devolve. Actually, the parasites might devolve.

Thanks for that. Appreciated.
