What I can see as a readily possible option for these demented maniacs is a series of false flag "terrorist acts" that give an excuse for martial law, the armed forces in the streets, even more totalitarianism. This one is almost too easy a guess! Anything else occur to my fellow conspiracy investigators?

And if it's false flag "terrorist acts", then we need to SERIOUSLY be on the lookout with our phones, spare battery in pocket, filming almost everything everywhere all the time, in order to catch them in the act and unveil their misdeeds before they can clamp down on our freedoms under false pretenses once more.
