    The reason it's only been that many deaths in Canada so far is because we've been diligent about stopping the virus before it can infect more people, unlike the United States. Protip: it involves wearing masks. A 1% death rate on a rapidly, easily transmissible disease is massive.

    I suppose it's my fault for being dumb enough to respond in good faith to someone who is demonstrably illiterate and doesn't seem concerned about any of the deaths that have occurred (hey, it's just the elderly, fuck 'em, right?).
