Do you think everyone should just be acquitted without trial because there is no reliable way to never convict an innocent person?

Which tactic will be right a majority of the time?

The vast majority of kids put through the trans system as is are experiencing horrific medical malpractice. The cure is being denied them.

If there is some trial that can identify the 10% for whom the system works I have no problem keeping them in he current system. But pulling the baseless claim out of your ass that "you can just tell" is not even close to good enough.

Absolutely not. That's my point. My verdict on a case I haven't even heard isn't "guilty" or "not guilty." My verdict is "let's hear the case."

And that's the same stance I take when it comes to kids who want puberty blockers. It's "let's hear the case."

I think that anyone who doesn't think parents and doctors can usually tell the difference between "this is who they are" and "this is just a phase" is really underestimating parents and doctors.

That's how we run our criminal justice system. We ask people to look at the evidence, hear the arguments, and make a decision. And while it may not be "close to good enough," it's certainly better than assuming everyone in the world is the same.

Again, there is no way to test a trans kid to determine if they will not be cured by traditional methods of trans therapy. There is no trial. There was never a trial. Just the accusation that someone is in the wrong body. An accusation that is wrong 90% of the time.

Find a way to have that trial and I will support it.

is really underestimating parents and doctors.

Parents have lost custody of their kids because they did not affirm their trans feelings. Doctors have lost their license for not affirming the condition.

Furthermore, the fact that 90% of trans kids were cured by non affirming care and now zero % of trans kids are not being affirmed proves beyond any reasonable doubt that no one is identifying anything.

better than assuming everyone in the world is the same.

YOU are assuming that, and the entire system assumes that all kids who feel they are trans will always feel that way and nothing can change that. That assumption is wrong 90% of the time.
