Critics say that high SAT scores correlate with wealth because wealthy parents can pay for tutoring. No, the reason is that wealthy parents are probably intelligent, that's how they became wealthy. Their children inherited their intelligence.

That is obviously true. What is insane is how many people have the audacity to lie about it, despite their lie being so transparent. Further it boggles the mind how they maintain any credibility. For some reason the majority of people are so stupid they think if a person tells white lies they aren't truly guilty of lying. They don't understand that a liar is a liar.

Agreed. This whole idea that it's prejudicial is nonsense. You also have a lot more discipline problems in public schools in the US for lower income kids. Even if they aren't involved, they're impacted by that environment. Still, what other measures do they have? College Board testing, but that's pretty late in the game. I think college admissions need a solid standard to assist, but SAT scores should never be the only factor and I'm pretty sure they never have been.
