It seems so simple to me. Just put the person under general anesthesia, followed by - anything, really. Lethal injection and nitrogen gas both work fine.

Most of us have been under general anesthesia. We know it's instant unconsciousness - you can't even count down from ten. Suffering is impossible.

Yeah there's some kind of fake news going on about stories of prisoner executions being botched and them not dying. It's easy just up the dosage. It's a campaign to make people against executions.
