The British system is too kind to people like this, IMO (if we consider the eligibility for parole in a few years). And part of me wonders if he did this in order to be sent to a women's prison. The BBC noted that he expected to go to a women's prison, but that's unlikely to happen.

Double rapist represents a failure of the British to properly dispense justice the first time.

The proper dispensation of justice towards a rapist should be a done at the end of a rope.

Awe man - self-deprecation is a standard in Britain, unlike I've heard in the US, but I cannot find a Brit standup bit on Youtube to prove my point at the moment. There are however lots of Americans who are good at it, the absolute best of them being Joan Rivers:
