Smells like fake propaganda.

If there were any actual problem, the Muslim world would be up in arms. Literally. Like, sending suicide bombers to Beijing. They did this to us for far, far less.

Let Muslims take care of Islamic problems. Getting between two warring sides is a great way to be hated by both. The world hates America when it tries to play World Police. Time to stop.

After all, the current protests have shown America to have zero moral legitimacy. Why should anyone listen to us?

The Uighurs have strong ties to Turkey and many travel there to get directions. But China is not that easy to mess with and won't become the next Syria.
