You're not going to believe this.

The Queen holds title to 6.6 billion acres of land across the world. That's more than 1/6 the entire land mass of the planet.

She leases it back to the British government and other governments. The money goes to the Crown Treasury, except that the Queen keeps 15% of it for herself. That's a major source of the royal family's income.
