Find out which Democrats he has supported, voted for. Find out why. Find out what he thinks of 2016, 2020, and Bernie's Dem nomination runs. There are big money campaign donors -- who are they and what does he think of them? What do they think of him? He's a financially independent upper class guy and there are political subjects he decides not to talk about. Governance topics? Yeah that too. All the governance topics.

I made the mistake of voting for democrats in previous elections too. Now I know better.

Hillary carries hot sauce in her purse and Joe Biden thinks poor kids are as smart as white kids.

I know that Hillary, aka my abuela, said (on the campaign trail) that she always has hot sauce in her purse.

Has anyone here ever seen her with a purse, though?

The only way to win a rigged carnival game is to walk way.

In many ways I agree: Don't legitimize the rigged process by participating.

A problem: The carnival may be on the other side of town so we can stay away from it, but what it does has far-reaching effects on all of us.

I'm not against participating in the carnival. I just see wasted effort on rigged games that could be made more productive. Blue Ocean strategy.

Very true. It has far reaching effects on the entire world. However, that is true whether or not we vote. And the anointee will be the nominee, whether or not we vote.

It's not our singular vote that matters. It's whom we give voters the opportunity to vote for that matter. That's where the value in voting lies.

You believe that the system is rigged, but also nonetheless believe that we are the ones who decide for whom voters can vote. I don't know how you can believe both at the same time.

The DNC is not sponsoring debates or primaries because Biden is to be the nominee. IMO, the DNC never stopped choosing the Dem Presidential nominee, simply because someone invented primaries at some point. Primaries were blatantly disregarded in 1952, but the DNC learned to be more subtle over time.

(It may be that Biden will not remain the nominee if his approval ratings fall below a certain point during the general campaign, whereupon the DNC will name his replacement. But, one way or the other, the identity of the nominee will be the DNC's call.)

Just watched Jimmy Dore's clips of the hearing. You're right. Trump gave pep rallies and told the occasional truth, and people voted for him just to stick it to the establishment that's fucking them over.

How many people will vote for RFK if they listen to that Karen lie to his face and try to badger him?

To be clear: I DO NOT explicitly support RFK Jr, but I must admit, he IS giving the DNC fits, and it's gratifying to see. At worst, he exposes the DNC for what it really is in order to defend himself from their smears and slander, thereby getting Trump elected again. That's not delightful, but considering how little damage he did (until he agreed to authorize lockdowns) compared to what Dems said would be the consequences, it's probably best described as a kind of holding pattern, stasis, while populism gains steam and the People gear up to join the War Against Us, already in progress.

There's a possibility I could vote for him in the end, though it would require a real show that he means business. I refuse to vote against any longer, but if he could give me something to vote for, he might earn my vote. In the meantime, I wait and watch, and I really do enjoy the spectacle of Establishment assholes, both Party stooges and media morons, being openly opposed on their own turf with real success. Popcorn's a-poppin'.

Which menu item at Chipotle is AOC then

I've never been in a Chipotle. Does it offer tofu burgers?

I have nothing against tofu when it's not trying to pass as something other than what it is.
