I don't deny climate change, or that things need to be done about it. Including protests. However, vandalism isn't legitimate protest to me.

Yeah, I can see that, especially since most of the climate change protests are done in the "annoy the average person and shame them into walking, using nothing with plastic, and even if you're dying an a pill will save your life, refuse it to not use the petroleum to crush it", and completely ignore the "about 7 companies release 71% of all greenhouse gases" thing.

These climate activists are just using this as an excuse to be cunts and be infamous. Littering, destruction of art, and the like really has nothing to do with the climate.

I'd not be surprised if it turns out these groups are influenced by large oil companies and the like "suggesting" radical means of protest to turn public opinion against them.

Regardless fucking around with art in a museum and gluing yourself to the road or whatever, I frankly think we should just adopt canings like in Singapore. Remove the person. Give them a thorough caning, and they'll not likely do it again.

I'm a fan of that system because I think it will generally prevent repeat offenders with minimal jail time. No reason to lock people in jail for years for non-violent offenses when an ass whipping will fix the problem

If they would put fecal matter (shit) and urine into a fire extinguisher and then pressurize it and then spray it all over the ceiling and then all over the painting, no ladies will ever go to a show at that facility ever again.

In the UK there is a group called Just Stop Just Stop Oil who've taken a number of actions to spoil their protests. In one, they encircled a JSO group who were about to start a protest and wouldn't let them out of the circle. It was pretty funny.
