“Those ones over there are faking it!” is literally the worst thing for troonery that any Troon can claim because it collapses the reality distortion field that they’ve been existing in. If those troons over there are just faking it, how do we know those other troons over there aren’t just faking it? Or those troons over there? And what about those troons over there? Or there? Or there? Oh dear.

I look forward to the resurrection of the mental illness story, because that’s the only way this can continue, because no one is going to give a shit about AGPs and their fetish, they’re all going to run back and campaign for GID/GD to be put back in the DSM.

Yeah, the AGPs will either go back to doing it quietly on the weekend with their long suffering wives looking the other way or they will claim to have GD/GID and hope that we just see them as poor victims of bwainy-hurty instead of the fetishists that they are and “allow” them to be “out” but without the pretence, privileges or accommodations (sorry, you’re using the gents’ “Mavis”).

The sad thing is, they could have prevented all of this if they had just left the kids alone and stayed out of women’s spaces.

One of the original scientists to study transexuals divided them into 2 categories but he was only studying men. The heterosexual version were basically AGP and acted in a much more fetishistic way. The homosexual variety self hating gays who saw themselves as failed men or bought into being called women by the standards of their patriarchal culture.

I mean, OK I guess you can in some contexts. If I claim to be a Time-Traveling Martian Prince this is pretty clearly false.

But "trans identity" doesn't have any meaningful definition in the first place. Trans activists generally speaking are strongly against the idea that you need to feel dysphoria to be trans. The other day i was reading a thread titled "I wish I were a girl, does that mean I'm trans?" And one of the answers he got was, essentially, "Why don't you try being a girl for a while and see if you like it?". Seriously, that's how the very people who promote the concept think it works.

Why not? I mean people have claimed to have memories of past lives and what not. Does that exist? I realize you start to go into the religious argument and I wish to avoid the kind of new atheist hostility bullshit. But regardless, if past lives are real, someone could still just make that up. And if they aren't real, they can still make it up, so it is kind of irrelevant.

Whether or not we accept trans-identification as something that is real or not is kind of irrelevant to the point that someone could just pretend to be trans, especially if they stand to gain something from it. It is a braindead easy point to win in any fair argument.

I refrained from bringing up religion, but yeah any time members of a religion get special treatment there's a similar issue. People can "convert to" and "identify as" anything they want, and trying to judge their sincerity seems like a big waste of time. I don't see why we should treat people differently based on non-falsifiable claims in the first place.

    At the very least we can see a clear difference between someone who has consistently identified as trans for years prior to their incarceration vs someone who comes out as trans after they are arrested.

    Yes, transitions / gender affirming care whatever should be barred from individuals in certain scenarios.

    Honestly, I disagree- I think they should make transitions mandatory for prisoners who identify as trans. You really say you're transgender? Fine, we'll put you on HRT and plan for full top and bottom surgery while you're incarcerated.

    For the people who have consistently identified as trans, this is incredibly kind and would give them something that is hard for most trans people to get to help them live their best life upon release, and in the process hopefully prevent recidivism. For the people who are lying, it becomes "Fine. Money where your mouth is. We're going to help you have a full transition including top and bottom surgery, so we will be cutting your dick off. That's what you wanted, right? You're not just lying to get in a women's prison and have an anime harem instead of punishment, RIGHT?"

    Oh, I wasn't joking. I do think that prisons giving transitions to transgender criminals asking to be placed in the prison matching their gender is necessary, both to help their rehabilitation and separate the wheat from the chaff.
