2018 "If you don't know someone's pronouns just ask."

2023 "Asking about pronouns is rape!"

Proving, like that one nonbinary whiner's video confession, that it was never about the pronouns but about the opportunity to be offended.

Double-bubble, control over the language you use, even when not in the presence of the pronoun ponce and opportunity to be offended.

Well, don't people realize the answer is- you needed to know who they were already. If people just knew their presence on the Internet and were obsessed with them to the point they couldn't go a day without thinking about them, they'd KNOW their pronouns. Saying they don't is saying they aren't special, and saying they're not special is rape. QED.

Translation: Reminding me I'm not a cute anime girl hurts my fee-fees, boohoo.

This coddled generation is so damn contemptible. We need a war.

Then why are they announcing their pronouns to everyone they meet and signing emails with their pronouns and talking about pronouns on tweeter all day if it is oh so traumatic for them to bring this up

Put on women's clothes, chop your penis off, IDGAF, I'm just trying to live my own life. These people should also want me to mind my own business and leave their 'persecuted' asses alone. But they won't just mind their own goddamn business, why won't people just mind their own damn business and leave me alone? I fucking hate people.

The T is trying to split itself away from the more embarrassing troons. They're now trying to say there's "transsexuals, transgenders, and transvestites." There's charts and shit.

I'm just trying to live my own life

I'm not, I fight against this shit. This ideology is toxic. Two of my niece's friends trooned out, and they're good kids, and this ideology doesn't improve their lives, it makes them miserable and it's so pointless.

And the fight is going well for once. It seems like the tides are turning.

I don't disagree thats its toxic and harmful - but ideological battles in a free society are a big problem. What happens when the majority decide my 'unwoke' ideology is toxic? Or the christians that I'm a degenerate sinner? Or that it doesnt improve lives and is harmful to let me smoke weed or refuse vaccination? There are always going to be people who want to force their idea of what is best for everyone onto everyone.

I think this is philosophically a very dangerous stance. There need to be objective principles. My personal belief is the standard in a free society ought be: society does not infringe on my rights, so long as my conduct does not infringe on anyone else's right to do the same. You mutilating your own body, or being your own doctor etc, does not infringe upon my rights. You demanding I use the language of your gender ideology does infringe upon my rights to express my own ideology of what constitutes gender, which infringes upon nobody else's right to do the same

I don't see a legitimate claim for forcing my beliefs onto another of what is in their 'best interest', when I object to others claiming sovereignty over this decision for ME to determine what is in my own best interest, and consistency in principles is kind of my thing. I wouldn't have a principled right to demand this, while also demanding the right to restrict the same decisions for others.

If you have a different objective, consistent, and principled basis to justify such a stance that you think is better, I'd be curious to hear it

They did, it's why our asses are on Saidit. But I don't think anyone is telling adults how to live (yet), the two main points are leave the kids alone, and we don't want to play gender pretend. There is a slight issue with some of the people who align in these goals. Man hating feminism has gotten a tremendous boost, as have traditional Christian groups, and Republicans. That could end up having unintended consequences. But those are our future selves problems, and the problem we have at hand is the transgender cult.

No objection here. Coerced gender pretend violates the principles I mentioned, and these 'rights' I was talking about do not apply to children. We don't let them drink or smoke either

If not rape, it's conversion therapy. If someone hasn't selected their own pronouns, isn't it unethical to pressure them to choose their gender under duress? Isn't that conversion therapy?

Well, people will just stop talking to you at all, then.👾

I kinda like this. I keep seeing 'Ask me about my pronouns ' t-shirts and other merch for sale. This provides a great response when anyone tried to initiate a pronoun circle or some nonsense.

That the OP uses the word 'transexual' suggests this is a pre-gender ideology transitioner. There is a certain login I'm empathetic to. Those people mostly wanted to transition quietly and get on with their lives. The pronoun crowd is constantly trying to force them to talk about their transition, which may well be traumatic.

They're trying to split the T into "transexual, transvestite, and transgender." There's charts and shit. If their gender needs an instruction manual I'm going to pass. They're inventing gender pokemon to collect them all.

But I do agree in a broad sense, this is a less offensive troon overall. But fucks sake, the comparison to rape is too much. They replied back saying something like "good thing you're talking to someone skilled."

works for me. I'll just continue to use the ones I think are appropriate.
