I'm not, I fight against this shit. This ideology is toxic. Two of my niece's friends trooned out, and they're good kids, and this ideology doesn't improve their lives, it makes them miserable and it's so pointless.

I don't disagree thats its toxic and harmful - but ideological battles in a free society are a big problem. What happens when the majority decide my 'unwoke' ideology is toxic? Or the christians that I'm a degenerate sinner? Or that it doesnt improve lives and is harmful to let me smoke weed or refuse vaccination? There are always going to be people who want to force their idea of what is best for everyone onto everyone.

I think this is philosophically a very dangerous stance. There need to be objective principles. My personal belief is the standard in a free society ought be: society does not infringe on my rights, so long as my conduct does not infringe on anyone else's right to do the same. You mutilating your own body, or being your own doctor etc, does not infringe upon my rights. You demanding I use the language of your gender ideology does infringe upon my rights to express my own ideology of what constitutes gender, which infringes upon nobody else's right to do the same

I don't see a legitimate claim for forcing my beliefs onto another of what is in their 'best interest', when I object to others claiming sovereignty over this decision for ME to determine what is in my own best interest, and consistency in principles is kind of my thing. I wouldn't have a principled right to demand this, while also demanding the right to restrict the same decisions for others.

If you have a different objective, consistent, and principled basis to justify such a stance that you think is better, I'd be curious to hear it

They did, it's why our asses are on Saidit. But I don't think anyone is telling adults how to live (yet), the two main points are leave the kids alone, and we don't want to play gender pretend. There is a slight issue with some of the people who align in these goals. Man hating feminism has gotten a tremendous boost, as have traditional Christian groups, and Republicans. That could end up having unintended consequences. But those are our future selves problems, and the problem we have at hand is the transgender cult.

No objection here. Coerced gender pretend violates the principles I mentioned, and these 'rights' I was talking about do not apply to children. We don't let them drink or smoke either
