Helen Joyce really is the best at describing gender ideology in layman's terms. I watched her interview with Jordan Peterson before it was banned for 'hate speech'. She's literally the least hate-y person imaginable, and far less blunt than say Posie Parker. What a clown world.

She has her foibles, for instance when she talks about children being “transed” she seems to always say “parents” and not mothers, who we all know are responsible for it in the vast majority of cases. Also her focus seems to be squarely on the harm to women and girls and very little on the damage being done to young boys and men who get caught up in this, her position seems to be that trans-identifying men are responsible for their own transing whilst trans-identifying women are just victims of it, which seems to be a widely held belief amongst the gender critical crowd.
Saying that, I found her book to be excellent and have time for what she says even if her perspective is not entirely aligned with mine.
She has the academic clout that Parker Posie lacks, and she isn’t as confrontational despite making the exact same points.

And that's what they fear the most. Somebody who can calmly make very strong arguments, and not easily be smeared as hateful.
They certainly tried though, attempting to smear her as antisemitic due to about one paragraph of her 300 page book where she called out 3 billionaires pumping money into trans activism, two of whom happened to be Jewish.

Sounds like your standard men can be wrong, women can't rhetoric to me.
The standard gender critical position seems to be that trans is something that men and boys choose to do whereas it is forced on women and girls by society, and she doesn’t acknowledge the major role that mothers play in transing young boys.
That being said the last five minutes of the video identify where the major issue is, how it has proliferated through organisations and governments and what the future trouble will be.
