The teacher is stuck. I believe he is following the Scottish Government policy, if he doesn’t he potentially gets sacked and barred from teaching.

In this case I actually feel sorry for the teacher. It’s clearly nonsense, but he has to follow it or else lose his job and pension.

Scotland is fucking lost, they’ve gone full Troon.

The other UK video of a teacher being trolled was in England and the rules is England are entirely different and the teacher was completely in the wrong.

An important point to remember. Not everyone who parrots this shit does so because they believe it, but because someone is (metaphorically) standing behind them with a loaded gun against their head, making them say it.

Yeah, not everyone is in a position to throw their career and financial security away on principle. I don’t see a middle-aged white guy who gets sacked for rejecting woke ideology getting much support on GoFundMe, Patreon etc, and he isn’t famous enough or qualified enough to be able to pull a Kathleen Stock or Lawrence Fox.

There’s an English RE teacher and his family still in hiding for using a Mohammed cartoon in a lesson on free speech (that had been used for years to no complaints). Literally no one, not even his (and mine) fucking Teachers’ Union helped him. He’s still on the run from lunatic Islamists almost two years after the incident. At the time of the incident the media came very close to condoning his treatment, it was fucking shocking.

Sounds like the union needs to be given a lesson on the patella and how wonderful it is.

I'd be getting on my unions ass over shit like that. You don't help people when they have issues? What the fuck am I or anyone else paying union dues for then?

My union has been thoroughly infiltrated by the worst of the worst ideologues because rank and file members don’t vote in the elections for officers. I use it as professional insurance and nothing else now, it’s about the same as a non-union insurance and has the added benefit of also covering HR stuff.

Yeah there's no way a run-of-the-mill boomer like this dude has bought into the gender identity bullshit.

I think he's smart enough to understand how fucked up the political climate is these days and he's playing it safe so he can retire one day without hassle.

But good for the student for standing up for his beliefs. It gives me a glimmer of hope for Gen Z.

No. He does not has to follow it. He can rebel and stand opposed like a sane person. Instead he's choosing to be a complacent coward hoping he'll be spared. He wont.
