She describes how she's getting more heat from the leftist gender nutters than from the 'transphobes'. She's obviously still trying to be deferential to them, but now it's coming from a place of fear rather than self-promotion and power-seeking (looks like that ship has sailed)

You forget. The average Wokester goes past 'they truly believe they'll be in power at the end' and go to 'they cannot possibly fathom any result of the revolution that is not 'they, personally, end up in complete power." They do not fear the gulag because they have no doubt in their mind they will end up as Stalin.

The more your career and popularity depend on the goodwill of the woke mob, the more 'friends' you can lose by getting called out, the more afraid you are of rejection, the more attractive target you are for those people. They crave a victory, and the right-winger who they can't bully into silence won't give it to them.
