There are those who do, but it's almost always the result of a lot of time, effort, and money put into it. More than your average "spinny dress goes wee/HRT makes my dick fumes smell like pussy" troon can (or wants to) put in.

My personal opinion is that the really loud troons--the sort that used to feature prominently on TiA--actually don't want to put that level of work in, because part of their kick is getting people to acknowledge them as women when they so clearly don't pass.

My personal opinion is that the really loud troons--the sort that used to feature prominently on TiA--actually don't want to put that level of work in, because part of their kick is getting people to acknowledge them as women when they so clearly don't pass.

Honestly, I just think the type of troons who were on TiA on the minor "would you fuck me? I'd fuck me. I'd fuck me hard"- type posts were like that.

The really loud ones seemed like the pissed-off incels who were openly using it as their cheat code for "ha, now I outrank you. You have to give me my way now or you're the villain and I can ruin your life like you did all of us! Stand in line to suck my girldick now..."

That's more true for ftm. It's extremely rare for a mtf to pass, super lucky genetics are absolutely required, and unfortunately mtfs for some reason seem to end up with the most masculine bodies possible (excess prenatal testosterone converted to estrogen maybe?). While a ftm can actually become male with hormones, because testosterone changes everything while estrogen does very little in comparison. Yet 90% of them are 20+ year old "boys" on tumblr with no hrt or anything other than gender nonconfirmity, same with mtf (and you can still tell if they're not on hrt). And they brag about their supposed condition as if we should be celebrating a curse that drives at least 41% of its victims to suicide. And no I don't buy the "it's all because of transphobic conservative Christian bigots bullying them!" narrative. It's "natural selection selected them to be subjects of a cruel and unethical experiment and now they are dommed to misery with no hope". Some people are gifted with the ability to be happy regardless of how terrible their situation may be. But the rest are damned for life. And I rage every time the media says this is all "normal and healthy" as if there's nothing bad about something that makes people kill themselves that little can be done about. And then they make up all this gender identity theory and have people identify based on sexist stereotypes, and identify as cats and furries and cars, and refuse to call out obvious trenders and anime fetishists and abusers, and then wonder why everyone hates trans people. And I bet they're going to to try to ban hrt soon because it acknowledges biological sex and is therefore "transphobic". Even having gender dysphoria is going to get you called a bigot, because sex doesn't exist, everyone should just be happy in their bodies and identifying as what they want, because identifying as something else without actually becoming it fixes everything as long as you silence the dissent pointing out that your royal highness has no clothes!

Only the ones from South Asia seem to have this privilege though, as males there are on average smaller than their Western counterparts.

The fact that most of them don't go for the pornfied look also helps quite a lot.

Err.. no, they're still female.

The difference between FtMs and MtFs is that the former has an easier time passing than the latter, and even then, if you know how and where to look, you can still clock them.

Also, society in general tends to be more strict in regards to looks when the subject is women. A strange looking "man" will get way less weird looks than a strange looking "woman".
