https://hilariouschaos.com/ this is the only one that's more aligned with us in terms of politics. (It's the continuation of Exploding Heads.) And SDF's instance is apolitical. The other instances are inhabited by complete retards. One would think they're bots, because it's hard to imagine that God's creation can be so stupid.

I'm on lemmy.sdf.org, but I've noticed a lot of things being removed in the modlog: https://lemmy.sdf.org/modlog

Is that being done by SDF, or just federated from the respective instances?

That isn't SDF. Most of the stuff you see there goes on on communities from other instances, and you can check the modlogs of those instances to confirm it. The moderation entries from SDF itself are like twice a week. (Everything without blue text in it is from SDF itself.)

I will say that SDF has a friendly character, so the invisible part may be that they're trying to keep it that way through moderation. So perhaps you have to adapt a bit there. But I see no indication of radical wokeism.

No one can actually discuss anything anymore. Humanity has become retarded.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

The idea of discussion was that two people from wildly different sides could argue their positions. These days they just see you are not part of "their" group and the discussion doesn't even start. I think the people that are in "their group" are predominantly left and probably black Americans. I don't think the Japanese think in such terms (although the Japanese have one of the most racist societies on the planet (or well, according to some people)).

I think proportionally the number of stupid people online has increased to the point that approximately nobody is left as fschmidt says.

Lemmy instances are full of commies, trannies, car haters, people that are fully Covid vaccinated, specialists for memes and nothing else ...
