Dude... I know. When you fit a square in a rectangle you lose a lot too. Or a tall rectangle in a wide rectangle or vice versa. I'm talking about more than just watching videos.

For example, I have my 3 1080p monitors vertically tall, yet my full screen browser (ie. SaidIt) is crowded with vertical tabs, not even with sidebars (bookmarks) or widgets (clock, calendar, todo list), etc. A square monitor would solve that. Making them horizontal could fit it, but then my scroll is short and squat. I would MUCH rather have 2 large 1920x1920 square monitors than 3 1080x1920 monitors - plus my 4th bigger screen to the side for videos only.
